HOW DID MONKEY STUFF GET STARTED?
Monkey Stuff was born out of the creative energy at Behind the Tech Labs, a studio founded by Kevin Scott. With a background in computer science and a lifelong passion for craftsmanship, Kevin blends techniques and materials across disciplines to create functional, high-quality products. HOW DO I CLEAN MY PRODUCTS?
Do not machine wash any of your Monkey Stuff bags, as this could damage zippers, webbings, or leather components. Instead, we recommend spot cleaning the canvas with good ol’ liquid dish soap and water as needed.
The apron is super durable and can be hosed off or rinsed clean in the sink, or, if you remove the leather strap retainer, can be thrown in the washing machine. (Just don’t put it in the washing machine caked in clay, or you'll clog your drains!)
DOES THE TOOL BAG OR POTTERY KIT COME WITH POTTERY TOOLS?
No, the pottery bags are designed to hold your pottery tools. They do not come with the tools themselves.
CAN YOU PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT OR ADVISE WHERE TO GET MATERIALS FOR THE DIY PLANS?
We offer both PDF and printed instructions to help you create your own Monkey Stuff, but please note that we don’t provide technical support or disclose where the materials are sourced. We encourage you to get creative - use what you’ve got on hand or what you can find. The goal is to have fun and make it your own! Let your imagination and resourcefulness lead the way.
WHAT LAPTOPS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE MONKEY STUFF LAPTOP SLEEVE?
The laptop sleeve in the Monkey Stuff messenger bag and backpack accommodates laptops up to 16 inches. Both are designed to provide a secure and snug fit for most devices within these size ranges. HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
- Orders are processed within 24 - 72 hours, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
- After processing, you’ll receive a tracking number to monitor your shipment.
Shipping times depend on the destination. Once your order leaves our workshop, shipping carriers assume responsibility for delivery.
Note: Shipping fees are non-refundable.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International orders are shipped via a combination of large carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEX) and smaller regional ‘last mile’ carriers.
Duties/Taxes are payable upon delivery and are the responsibility of the customer. Delivery estimates for international shipping reflect when your package departs US customs, not final delivery in the destination country.
CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY ITEM?
We accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of purchase. To qualify:
- The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original condition.
- Products showing signs of use or alteration cannot be returned.

Note: Shipping costs and credit card fees are non-refundable.
DO YOU OFFER A WARRANTY?
Yes! Monkey Stuff products are backed by a Lifetime Warranty against material defects.
If a defect arises, you can send the item to our repair center, and we’ll fix it free of charge.

Warranty covers material defects only. Damage caused by improper use or normal wear and tear is not covered.
